A dark colored girl feeling insecure
in relationship with a fair color boy.
Is it right in feeling insecure for women in relationship like that?
How society reacts to such dark co loured girl in relationship with a fair color boy ?
How does that women see herself in relationship?
Is she has to be prepared herself for dealing such situations where her relationship is always judged by her color .
Is that feeling can create a drastic misunderstanding in her relationship.?
The most common insecurity that a black women can face is her color.
But on a more serious note, recently, I was forced to answer such questions.
Sometimes lack of understanding can create a huge misunderstanding in our relationships.
And relationships are much more than that of simply of our skin color .
So a true gentleman never loves her women based on her color or by keeping any physical aspect in his mind.
If your gentleman loves you for your inner beauty ….then you need not to feel insecure by society .
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole but, true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.” Audrey Hepburn
In our culture, we are conditioned to focus on outer beauty despite the fact that many of us don’t meet the supermodel beauty standards. We talk about inner beauty a lot but do we really use it as a criteria to define beauty? This is a rhetorical question.
Insecurities are something that we battle daily. What makes it worse is that insecurities has no age; it can affect any woman! So whether you’re a young woman in your early 20’s or a more seasoned woman, you can still struggle with battling the many issues of self-love and acceptance .
Growing up my mother used to say, “Outer beauty is skin deep,it’s gone. You don’t have to bother how you look, its purely a god’s creation, all you want is to feel better ,happy and Glow in purity in your heart”
At the time, I did not really pay attention to what my mother was saying or even understood. When you’re young, it’s “here she goes again” but over the years, many of what my mom said comes back to me and I even find myself repeating them. What can I say, “I have turned into my mother.”
But on a more serious note, recently, I was forced to answer the question, “What makes you feel beautiful?”
Your self-esteem, attitude, sense of purpose, love for others and compassion.
Confidence, flexibility, a radiant smile, focusing on what you have, not on what you don’t .
Your unique light is your greatest asset and your unique definition..It is what makes you spark and most importantly, it already sits within you. Some cultures refer to it as your ‘hara’ – your center or your spirit. I refer to it as your blueprint; it encompasses your qualities as a ‘whole’ – your personality, your physiology and your presence. Everything about you exists for a reason and together they unite to reflect a clear and intended picture that exists for a specific purpose.
Now It’s your turn!
What makes you feel beautiful?
Do you think that inner beauty is really used as an indicator of true beauty?
